If you don't see what you're about to ask for, just ask! The worst I'm gonna say is no!
Commission rights, posting, and sharing
Q: What can I do with the artwork I buy from you?
A: With the exception of items in the "Chat and Social Media Stuff" section of my price guide, the version of rights I automatically provide to you at the prices I list on my Price Guide (which I define as Personal Rights) you can:
Q: What rights do I need to pay additionally for?
A: Everything else! I want to be fair, not cruel, so this amount is quoted by how you specifically you intend to use it.
A list of things you need to pay to do with the artwork (or in other words, things you can't do with the artwork unless you expressly paid to do so):
Q: What does it cost for additional rights to the image?
A: For the prices I haven't listed on my price guide or have been vague about, they can be more expensive than you might anticipate being just because you might need near to full rights to the image to do what you anticipate doing. Selling, publishing and merchandising artwork can be expensive!
Q: How do I get a high resolution file?
A: I'll send you an e-mail with an attachment or dropbox link to your high resolution files after my workday is done. Check your inbox/junk/spam folders for my message. If you haven't received my message please e-mail me and ask for the high resolution files!
Q: Where can I post the low-resolution image (under 2000 pixels at the widest dimension)
A: To your personal accounts! It's appropriate to show people the artwork I've made you at the dimensions I consider "low resolution" (2000 pixels at the widest dimension) with some mention that I made the artwork via a tag or relevant username will suffice.
It is inappropriate to post the image to your business/content creation accounts, as often the use in those places is paired with self-promotion/advertising of events/content etc. Adding advertisement/self promotion posthumously to content originally without that is also inappropriate.
Q: Who can I share the high-resolution file with?
A: If it's a refsheet you can share the high-resolution file with whoever you feel it's appropriate to share it with. Please try not to post the high resolution file openly to the internet though.
All other artwork should not have the high-resolution files shared, regardless of where. The simple reason why sharing the high-resolution file is prohibited is so that I may protect my copyright to the image best by not having that content available to those that would maliciously take, use, or abuse the artwork. No high-res files floating around means no weird ripoff companies floating around a copy for sale on a canvas, no people trying to be me that have access to those files to make it easier to pretend, and no way for people wanting to manipulate my artwork without my consent to do so effectively.
A: With the exception of items in the "Chat and Social Media Stuff" section of my price guide, the version of rights I automatically provide to you at the prices I list on my Price Guide (which I define as Personal Rights) you can:
- Post the image to your personal (not business) accounts, so long as the image is under 2000 pixels at the largest dimension.
- Collect the high resolution file by emailing me for it after the artwork is completed if I haven't sent it to you automatically.
- Print the image for personal use, with the exception of stickers/decals/wraps (below).
- Create a crop the image solely for the use as an icon (a 100x100 or similar square crop, resized as is appropriate) for use on your personal (not business/professional/Twitch) accounts.

- Advertising or self-promotion, regardless of whether you get paid for the thing you are promoting or not. (check Promo/Ads in "Chat and Social Media Stuff" on my price guide)
- Sell or publish the artwork.
- Use the artwork on Merchandise. (check Merch in "Chat and Social Media Stuff" on my price guide)
- Allowing a non-profit or another entity/individual to use the artwork for anything.
- Stickers, Decals, or Wraps (check Merch in "Chat and Social Media Stuff" on my price guide)
- To editing, or have others edit the image for you. This includes manipulation, adding text, cropping, removing my signature, and a variety of other ways to edit the image.

- No access to working files.

Forms, process, and timeline
Q: How do I get a commission from you?
A: This should outline what you need to do:
Q: Where will you advertise a Commission Opening?
A: I do a few things to advertise an opening:
Q: When should I fill out a form?
A: When you have payment available for your commission, and either when I'm open for commissions or whenever you want;
If you apply for a commission while I'm open you have priority in the upcoming Queue (or round) of commissions to be completed, assuming I choose your commission. This is the better way to make sure you aren't waiting longer than necessary for your artwork to be completed.
If you apply when I'm "Closed" I'll still receive your form, but if I accept your commission you'll be put on the Wait List.
You can also choose to Rush the commission for an additional fee.
Q: What happens if I get a Slot?
A: Congrats! All that's left to do is answer my Email and pay for your commission. Payment is expected up front, and I'll ask to send you an invoice in the same email that I confirm you have a slot. After you've paid for your commission you'll have a slot on my Schedule, which will be updated a few days later.
Q: When would my commission be completed?
A: Assuming you've just paid, between 6 and 17 days. I'll let you know the soonest and latest days for completion in the formal Email I send you, and an automated e-mail will be sent to your listed contact e-mail when I've scheduled your commission for completion.
Q: What is the Wait List?
A: If I have too many commissions that I want to take and not enough space to complete them all in the upcoming Queue customers are put on the Wait List. The Wait List holds you a slot until I am next available to complete your commission. You won't be asked to pay for that held slot, instead you're asked to pay when your slot comes up ( 6 days before the next Queue starts).
For customers that apply during a commission opening this usually means a 2 week wait to pay for your slot.
Q: How many times can I apply for a commission?
A: I will now be limiting customers applying for the same commission to twice. If you were not accepted the first time for your commission, you may apply once more for that idea. Please refrain from applying for the same commission idea more than a total of two times. If you have different commission ideas you are welcome to continue applying for commissions. I love regular customers!
Q: What if I need to edit my form?
A: I can edit your form if you contact me over Email before your commission is due to be completed (or if you're on the Wait List). If you ask me to add details I didn't understand to be there when (if) you paid for the commission I may charge you more for the update.
Q: Do you provide WIP's (Works In Progress)?
A: No, I do not.
This is because I work too fast; it takes me between 1 and 6 hours to get an artwork done, regardless of how complex. Instead I offer Streams during my working hours.
There is a section on streaming below.
Q: Do you do Private commissions?
A: Absolutely! You have the opportunity to let me know on the form whether your commission is Private, a Gift, or otherwise, whether or not I can stream the commission, and whether or not I can post it. I'll always respect your preference, even if I enjoy posting my work.
Q: What if I need an Edit?
A: If I've made a mistake and either not followed a reference correctly or not drawn the artwork correctly from what you wrote on your form there is the ONE FIX RULE.
All other edits will have a cost, which I will quote you for if you ask.
I encourage customers that are anxious about details being drawn incorrectly mention those details on their form blatantly; I prefer to make certain things are correct the first time.
All edits, regardless if it's the One Fix Rule or a paid edit, will be completed in my spare time. If it's been unreasonably long of a wait (4 weeks or more), I'll place your edit on the Queue.
If you want an update about your Edit, please Email me!
Q: What is the One Fix Rule?
A: The One Fix Rule is a service I provide to customers. If I draw the commission incorrectly by not following the information you provide on your form properly customers are entitled to ask me to fix the problem areas at no charge.
The One Fix Rule is only available if I've made a mistake from your form information. It is not available for customers that are indecisive, or wish to edit things based on preference.
A: This should outline what you need to do:
- You read my info on how I work from my TLDR Commission Quick Guide page
- Check when I'm next open from my Commission Status Page which should be every 2 weeks on a Tuesday , check Prices for what commission type you want, and check my TOS if there's anything more formal you're worried about. I'll open commissions 6 days before the upcoming round, and customers that I give slots to during that opening will be expected to pay before I start drawing the new round (you'll have 5 days to pay in full).
- Then you submit a form, preferably when I'm open for commissions. The form asks you all the necessary questions about your commission details. You can view the forms you need to fill out from this page, and if anything is confusing you're welcome to email me so that I can clarify things for you!
- You'll get an Email back with the contents of your form (if you wrote in your Email correctly) from google. Your form will also pop up on my Schedule page's list view after about 15 minutes.
- I'll then send you an Email with a response to your commission request, usually within 24 hours, whether I want to draw your project, and how we proceed if you get a slot. I might not want to take your request, or might ask if we can adjust the information. Regardless, if you don't hear back from me in 24 hours first check your junk/spam folders, then Email me to confirm I got your form! Sometimes I'm busy, but it's extremely unusual for me not to reply. Customers that apply when I am not open will be responded to within 24 hours of my next opening, at the same time as I contact other customers from that opening. Customers that apply when I'm not open are encouraged to e-mail me for acknowledgement, or be aware of when I'll respond.
- If you get a slot, your commission should be completed between 6 and 17 days for the day I Open. If you apply when I'm not open the wait will be longer!
Q: Where will you advertise a Commission Opening?
A: I do a few things to advertise an opening:
- I'll post a Journal to my Furaffinity describing the details of the commission opening, whether there is a sale etc.
- I'll post an image notification to my Furaffinity and my Twitter
- I'll send a notification to my Telegram Channel , which is the best way to get an instant notification that I'm open.
- I'll update the Commission Status page here on my website to read OPEN, as well as change my Commission Forms page to read OPEN.
- You can see the next planned commission opening from my Commission Status page here, my FA Profile and my overlay on Picarto while I'm streaming.

How I pick commissions
Q: Who gets slots for commissions?
A: Almost everyone to be honest! I choose commissions based on what interests me more if there is more forms/requests than I have time for in a two week span. Some customers get asked to be on the waitlist if I want to take their work and can't accommodate them that round.
Q: What can I do to help my chances at getting a commission?
A: I lean most towards simpler requests (read: less absolutely cluttered with specifics), but work well with details regardless. I like to draw something a customer is excited to see in my style, and I like it when I receive a good customer. Good customers can be decisive about what they want when writing a form and are flexible with my interpretation of finer details to a degree. Good customers also let me know if I did a good job!
Q: What should I keep in mind of what to do/what not to do when writing my form?
A: Here's some things not to do, and what to do instead:

Q: What should I keep in mind of what to do/what not to do when writing my form?
A: Here's some things not to do, and what to do instead:
- Don't write long novel-like paragraphs. Keep it to short visual sentences and bullet points. (These are bullet points btw)
- Don't avoid telling me what you need to see, be upfront with your expectations. I want to draw you something you're going to love!
- Don't expect me to write out exactly what I'm going to draw over Email if you've left things vague and are hoping for me to talk it out. Instead take the time to provide me a few different ideas of your concept for me to run with so I can pick which I like most, preferably not too different from each other.
- If you want to be vague either because you like the surprise or you are comfortable with providing me that freedom, instead provide me your character's personality and/or things they like to do! I'd love to draw a picture of your character enjoying something or doing something in their character to do rather than standing there striking a pose.
- Don't kiss my butt! It's okay to tell me you're looking forward to something, but over complimentary behavior before I get to drawing a commission is not received as well as a compliment for a job well done.
Quoting
Q: How much does a commission cost?
A: My Prices page will give you a comprehensive list of my prices.
Q: It looks like some of your prices have a range (example: $100-$200). What happens if I want a commission type that has a price range rather than a set price?
A: This means I will quote you the cost of the commission based on the difficulty of your request. You can request a quote without applying for a commission by Emailing me, but be aware that I'll need the details of your commission including character references to do so accurately, otherwise I may change the quote when you apply for a commission later.
Q: What will result in a lower cost vs a higher cost?
A: The difficulty of your request. The more detailed your request, or the more difficult to articulate, the more expensive things will be.
Q: What happens if the quote is more expensive than anticipated?
A: In this case you have some other options.
All customers are also welcome to Email me in advance of a commission opening if you'd like a quote. I would need a comprehensive summary of what you want to see for an accurate quote, and the quote might change if you supply more information on your form that makes the commission more difficult.

Q: What will result in a lower cost vs a higher cost?
A: The difficulty of your request. The more detailed your request, or the more difficult to articulate, the more expensive things will be.
- Simple commission requests will result in average pricing, such as nude drawings of your character.
- Natural settings, simple rooms, and oceanic views when ordering backgrounds will often result in average pricing.
- Fetish material will result in slightly higher pricing, but not the highest price possible unless the other details of your request are difficult.
- Detailed requests will result in higher pricing. If you speculate plenty of little things that I need to consider, or provide over-much amount of reference with the expectation those references are to be followed (even if they aren't necessarily intricate things to draw) it will result in a higher quote.
- Requests that ask for intricate things to be drawn will result in some of the highest quotes. Examples of some intricate things are: guns, vehicles, armors, energy attacks, intricate clothing (pockets, belts, lace, patterns, flowing, layered, wrinkled, fabric specific, etc.), distressed or grungy textures, industrial places including architecture and cityscapes, background characters, challenging lighting, and other things. This is by no means a discouragement to customers as I enjoy drawing these things regardless of the challenge, but it is a warning that customers anticipate the price difference for intricate requests.
Q: What happens if the quote is more expensive than anticipated?
A: In this case you have some other options.
- If you'd still like a commission and don't mind altering your request to be more simple you can ideally bring the price down, or you can change the type of commission to something less expensive.
- If you still want your commission as it is and need a couple weeks to gather proper payment, I can arrange to put you on my wait list and contact you in two weeks at the next commission opening.
- If you still want the commission but don't know when you'll have the proper payment amount ready, I'll ask you to reapply when you're ready!
- If the commission is too expensive and you don't want it anymore you are welcome to cancel the commission.
All customers are also welcome to Email me in advance of a commission opening if you'd like a quote. I would need a comprehensive summary of what you want to see for an accurate quote, and the quote might change if you supply more information on your form that makes the commission more difficult.
Payment
Q: When do you expect payment?
A: Within 5 days of the time I Open, the payment deadline is usually the Sunday after I Open. This means BEFORE I START YOUR COMMISSION, payment pays for your slot.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: I can take Paypal payments and the ability to accept an invoice and pay with credit card/appropriate banking institution from that paypal invoice. If you live in Canada I can also accept E-transfer if that's necessary.
Q: What happens if I don't have a credit card/online banking and I don't have paypal?
A: I'm very sorry, but I don't believe we will be able to do business in that case. E-transfers/paypal is the only way to assure payment is received in a timely manner for me. The only other plausible way for us to do business is for you to find me at a convention and ask for a commission there.
Q: Can I pay half now and half after you're done the picture?
A: No. I do not start the image until you have paid in full.
Q: Can I pay one half and a friend pay the other half of the Quote?
A: Yes, that's acceptable so long as I'm informed of where the money is coming from in both places.
Q: Can I pay half now, and half in a couple of days?
A: Yes, so long as it's under a week from when you receive a notification that I have accepted your commission, that is acceptable. If it is not possible for you to pay within a week from notification that you have a slot, please be honest. It throws a bit of a wrench in my schedule when I plot someone in and can't start their commission until half way through the Queue or longer. Worst case scenario I ask you to try again next round!
Q: Can I upgrade/downgrade/refund my picture?
A: Yes, BUT ONLY BEFORE I'VE WORKED ON IT. This is absolutely crucial to remember! If I've started on your picture already, it really is too late to ask for an upgrade (even in stream, I'm sorry!)
Q: Can I tip you?
A: Yes =3 Hopefully you will already have my paypal address to do that!

Streaming
Q: Do you Stream all of your commissions?
A: Yes, unless you speculate in your application form that you would prefer I did not do so. You can opt out of Streaming, allowing me to post your commission, or even marking your username/alias on the Queue.
Q: Do I need to be present in the stream for you to take my commission?
A: Not at all! Streaming is something I do anyways, it's not a customer obligation. If anything it's a service to customers that would prefer to watch their commission being made so that they can tweak things.
Q: Where do you Stream?

Q: Can I schedule a stream?
A: No, but I do make my schedule prioritizing everyone's availability so long as it's within my working hours (10:00AM to 16:00PM US Central Timezone, Monday to Friday).
Q: Can I ask for a private stream?
A: In certain situations yes, but expect I'm going to ask you why you need the special accommodation. Acceptable reasons are that the image is a gift and you don't want it spoiled, or you are making a character and don't want it revealed to people watching the stream. Regardless of your situation I will not schedule a specific time to start streaming with you privately, you are expected to be available when I start streaming your commission, and if you aren't available you miss the stream! This is to prevent customers from taking advantage of the service just to do so. If I feel a customer is asking for this service without reason I am not likely to agree to provide this service.
If you don't anticipate being present for a stream regardless and just don't want me to stream the commission, just mark down that you don't want the commission streamed in the appropriate field.
Q: What time do you usually stream?
A: Between 10:00AM and 18:00PM US CENTRAL TIMEZONE, Monday to Friday, usually. Though sometimes starting later/sooner, sometimes taking less time and occasionally working longer than that. I am consistent in that I generally want to start drawing in the late morning/early afternoon.
Q: What happens if I'm a customer and I show up for the Stream?
A: Please use the Chat window! PLEASE also tell me who you are!
Q: Will you record your screen while you are working for me?
A: Nope!
Q: Do you have any recorded tutorials?
A: No. =( Sorry.
